I also will consult with teachers, staff, parents, and administrators to enhance their knowledge in helping and supporting students.
Parent resources Statistics show that suicide is the second leading cause of death in our youth today. The recent effects of this global pandemic have me thinking of some of the stress, anxieties, and worries that could lead to a deep depression in our children. Please take time to read, and save these resources and information if you feel you may need now or in the future. Know that you can always call or text 911 in any emergency. Wellstone Mental Health Hospital is currently taking patients. According to their website, they have a Licensed Mental Health Professional available 24/7 for an assessment at no cost. Families may pick up food for students if needed. Distribution sites are located at the Corydon, Heth-Washington, and South Central Campuses. As you arrive you will be directed to the exact location of distribution. You will be asked to remain in your car and proceed through the line as directed.
